Patrick,

After spraying filter wait awile for the oil to absorb and spread over, throughout, the filter.  Then check for any missed spots. The   K&N system is hard to beat . I wash and re-oil my filters once a year but am sure the system would function and offer good fitration for several years without maintainence.

Listers I can't help but think there must be a trick way to oil K&N
airbox filters that's better than the inconsistent spray can method .
How about a dip mixture in mineral spirits with a little oil ? How
about a dip in diesel ? How do the racer's do it ? Thanks for your help.
