The automotive world changed over to fuel injection in the mid 80's because
of government mandated smog and economy requirements. There are a lot less
motorcycles than cars and they ,for the most part have smaller engines and
get better economy mostly due to less weight. As the smog requirements catch
up with motorcycles however, they will have to change also. The carburetor
equipped cars of the early 80's were pretty bad for driveability.Fuel
injection is computer controlled and is also suited for high
performance.Since there are not too many 70 deg. v 4's with fuel injection
out there a V max would be hard to retrofit.Maybe use two Suzuki TL 1000
systems, set one from the T-1 mark and the other from the T-2 mark on the
flywheel.
