Not with the Cobra pipes that I have (and as far as I know, they only make
one type for the Max).  But ...... the foot pedal will stick out and look
sort of odd if you leave it on.  I took my center stand off long ago for
cleaner looks and reduced weight.  When I want to work on something, it only
takes about 2 minutes to slip it back on.  No need to carry it around all
the time.
