I just read the previous posts on the 97 Oil Leak...
"This particular leak was coming from the center of the oil level switch"
I've heard this is in the front of the bike, so I don't think it would
be this.
"This "case cover" screw is different than all the others because it has a
copper crush washer underneath it."
This sounds like the first thing I need to do b/c I removed it when
replacing my pickup coil. Is this a standard type of crush washer available
at hardware stores or do I need to go through the $$$ dealer?
