Mike,

Your right...4-2-1 will give a good amount more in the midrange. More
fun to ride on the street. Kerker(4-2-1) gave me 4 more HP in the
midrange and 6 more ft lbs of torque. However, I lost 1.2 PEAK HP. This
has been my Dyno expirience.
