Henry, would you just loosen the crown nut and retorque it to a lower
setting?

This sounds like a classic "steering head too tight" symptom. I think if
you try holding a perfectly straight line of travel at most any speed, it
will "weave" back and forth. Just loosen the torque on the steering head a
bit and I bet it will go away. There is a fairly narrow window of proper
torque on the steering head.
