Tyler, with the platinum the extra cost doesn't warrant it. Comparing it
to tires, shocks, wheel sizes is a different ball game. A stock motor
doesn't need the extra durability of a platinum plug. The reason I said
4,000 was that I noticed a difference in gas mieage. If you running 200
plus at the rear, or a turbo or supercharger, then a better plug is
needed, even the stock coils are marginal. Maybe your's needs it being a
1260 motor, but for a stock one I don't see spending the extra money for
it. NGK makes a good plug unlike the Splitfires that came out awhile
back making all kinds of claims. Suspension wise, yes it does need
updating.
