I used individule filters but not the ones that come with the 7. Mine have
chrome tops and are slightly taller. I think mario was the one who told me
about these. They just look alot better. I had my bike tested with the
airbox and the stage 1 it got 118 hp. the stage 7 brought it to 125.3 and a
real nice power curve the power curve was higher than the stage 1 throughout
entire rpm range. I left the vboost intact and hold it open with a switch.
We tested the stage 7 with the vboost in the stock automatic mode and it
broke up bad in the lower end. Peak hp was about 3 hp lower than holding it
open with a switch. I didnt adjust a thing after installing the 7. What is
there to fine tune? Alot of members say they have their bike tuned by john
furbur or other reputable maxers. If the plugs look good and you have no
flat spots whats next?
