Hi All There is stuff available in the UK called "Muck Off". It is sold by Halfords, an auto parts chain in the UK. It is a pink spray on fluid (environmently friendly allegedley) for mountain bikes. It is the best stuff I have ever used for cleaning my V Max. It gets all the road dirt, flies and tar off in one application. It is also brilliant for the alloy wheels on my Mercedes. The only trouble is that it is nearly £9.00 for a 1 litre bottle!! Does anyone have the formula for it or something similar that I could make myself that is this effective and less expensive?? I also meant to say that you only need a low pressure hose to wash the stuff off after it has been sprayed on and it comes up sparkling. With a wee bit of elbow grease it also takes off light alloy corrosion as my pal with his Kawasaki Zephyr 1100 found out much to his happiness.
