Hello Tom,
NO WAY not finger tight. if you have a torque wrench the I would torque
those puppies down. if no torque wrench then snug em in, and then 1/4 of a
turn in from there.
That's just my .2c worth

Noticed in the manual they say to torque plugs to 17. Is this recommended or
is finger tight fine?
