The 12v was intermittent while I fiddled with the harness, so I
tightened the connectors in the plugs which seems to have fixed it,
thanks for the advice- which is priceless, although the bike has got a
two year warranty on it the thought of Mr Max being off the road for
possibly days and handled at the work shop by some uncaring spanner
monkey gives me sleepless nights.
