By the way, I forgot to ask: did you check the vacuum line coming off of
#2? I did, from the carb end at least, and it didn't seem clogged, but I
don't know how to get to the other (top) end of it to see if it's leaking
(yes, I'm still waiting for a manual). What I'm getting at is that I'm
beginning to wonder if the shut-down s#@!%& isn't a multiple source problem
(i.e., fuel starvation + erratic timing).
