After 18 months of hard work I have managed to save some money and with my wife's
approval (how else.....) I can think about buying a new bike or spending it all in
improving the Max.
I would like to know what you would do if you were in my place, not give me advice,
just what you would do in your case. That is, what bike you would buy or what you
would do to improve a more or less standard bike (already with S7K, individual K&N
filters, TBR's dual aluminium ovals, Race tech emulators and springs and that's all).
I know you can spend double the price you paid for the Max and still be wondering if
it was worth it and added to this, as far as I know nobody appreciates the mods done
to a standard bike and at the time of selling all your investment goes down the drain.
I would like to improve handling and fit a big bore kit, but on the other hand for
that price you can buy a ZX12R or a Busa and have as many others have in this list,
the option of which bike to take out at any given moment.
Give me your opinion, since it will help me decide. Time will run out in July, when I
leave the site for good. In October I should be in Queensland (Brisbane) erecting a
Pulp & Paper Mill.
PS. What ever you convince me to do, I will still put my Max in a box and ship it
over. The new one ( coming to that) can sit at home while I work in Australia.
