Hey guys, My 2000 Max with 1225 miles on it has developed a small knock. At first it sounded like a loose rocker arm until I put a screw driver to the block and realized its lower. I brought it the dealership for 600 mile service, They called Yamaha about the noise and they were no help the dealer said just keep driving it and see if it breaks. They brought the bike out from the back and it was filthy with water spots I asked why they said got caught in a rain storm test driving it then I look at the rear end fill bolt and there was break dust on the bolt so I new they did not change the rear end fluid. So I went in to yell, and all they said was sorry asked for the manager and he didn't do anything. Anyway they said it would take them 3-4 weeks to r and r the motor. Any suggestions would be great.
