what's the story on the exhaust system that Jon's
supposed to be working on?

Steve,
They've completed prototype testing, and are/were doing final measurement
for production. My bike was one of the testbeds. Jon told me he was able to
pull 131HP with the exhaust and stock carbs, with a stage 7 kit. This being
on a bike that pulled 108HP during it's baseline runs. He's looking to
close in on or pass the 140 mark with the exhaust and V-Gas together. I
should have my bike back in a few weeks, I'll post more then.
Also... as well as he's done with the V-Gas, he wants to do even better.
While I was up there last month he expressed an interest in developing a
fuel injection setup for the V-Max. Such a project probably wouldn't even
get started for a year or two, but if he decides to do it, you can be sure
it'll be done right.
