Hi to all. I am new to the list,(South Africa) but have been following the
debate on rear tires with interest. For what it's worth,I have recently
fitted a 170/80 x 15 Michelin Tarmac. What a transformation! I run a 1996
V-max with Dynojet stage1,K+N filter and Hindle pipe and when not pushing it
to the limits on the nearby mountain roads, I am down at the local drag
strip, working at my launch technique. This tire is so sticky, that it will
hook up with very little wheelspin and with no burnout required. On the
twisty bits, what can I say? Awesome! I can't wait to upgrade my front tire
from the Bridgestone Spitfire to the Michelin Tarmac as well. Will keep you
all posted.
