Whats' up Maxers?
I've had my carbs off my '89 max awaiting time to disassemble and clean out .
I take them apart today and find that the two carbs on the throttle / rear
brake side of the bike (the right side) are missing peices in the carb float
bowl that the left bank of carbs had. The peices I'm talking about are the
little wire clips on the needle valve that the float lever should slide into.
This is both carbs! Can you guys confirm for me if this is normal or do I
have to go to the dealer and find out If i can get them or not? i don't know
if this wire clip is absolutely neccessary being that fuel pressure is gonna
keep the needle valve up against the lever of the float anyway. Thanks for
