I have exactly the same feeling for Yamaha you have, and that is, here in Spain where 
I live right now. I don't know how others feel, but to me the V-max was a big error 
Yamaha made in their general policy (thank God they did)..... I also  believe that 
there is no other bike I would be interested in from what they can offer, maybe an 
electronic organ, but not even sure about that.

By the way I sold my CBR 900 RR last week with 300 miles on the clock. I was only 
using my Max and the Honda dealer made a terrific offer I could not refuse, just 
exchange it for a brand new CB X11 when I come back from Australia in six months time. 
I could not refuse.....

Max will still be my favourite anyway, what else do you expect!!!
