I'm not sure TC was that unequivocal about it. If the pilots are set
incredibly lean or clogged, the TBR exhaust could contribute to a lean
condition. But it's probably not the main reason the bike isn't running
well. The fuel filter could be plugged with gook, but flows enough that you
don't notice it at small throttle openings, one or more of the carbs could
be suffering from partially clogged float valves, or a stuck float which
will flow enough at low speed, but not enough when it's hauling...

In any case, it's a great deal on the TBR exhaust. Both TC and I think TBR
makes great systems, and you'll probably have to do some setup on your bike
to optimize the benefits. I don't think it's too likely you'll HAVE to shim
or Stage 1 your bike to use the pipe, but you'll like the result if you do.

If your real question is: "Will my bike run like doodoo if I put on the TBR
system like my friend's bike did?" The answer is probably not.
