Does anyone know what Voltage the max's battery should have while not
running, and running (charging). Mine was acting funny today at lunch, so I
had to take it home. I think I had a plug wire come loose, the RPMs would
jump to 5K+ when I was only at around 2K and the rev's would take a long
time to come back down. I pushed down on the plug wire boots (none of them
felt like they were disco'd) and checked my fuses and rapped on the carb
covers and started it back up and everything was fine. <insert twilight zone
theme here> My battery is the original from a 98, I need the voltages to
see if its any good. When trying to start it back up after I got home it
was very sluggish, it would start to turn over then spin off the gear. I
did finally get it going...but it was working hard.
