One way to tell if the boost is working is roll out, shift in to second, position the throttle about half way to the stop and hold it there. Watch the tach as it sweeps past 6000, you should feel a big surge as if you opened the throttle al the way. But dont move the throttle. If you dont feel the surge no V-boost.
