Gary,

The fairing will really do little to help when the speeds get above 100. I 
have had mine above 100 numerous times. What I have noticed is body 
position helps tremendously when at those types of speeds. Not only being 
tucked but arm/elbow position as well as knees and feet (toes pointed up or 
down) will make noticeable differences. The fairing will help, depending on 
your height, in everyday riding.

And yes a Max is capable of ~150. I have had mine to 155, at least that is 
what my buddy said. I personally didn't have the balls to look down to see 
what the speedo registered
