Issue 64: Support additional toolchains on Windows

New issue report by [EMAIL PROTECTED]:
Currently the only supported toolchains on Windows are Microsoft Visual
Studio 2005 SP1, Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 and Microsoft Visual C++
Express 2008.
Support for additional toolchains on Windows like gcc with Cygwin and MinGW
should be added.
