Comment #4 on issue 358 by tobias.kaes: Irregular crash in profiler test http://code.google.com/p/v8/issues/detail?id=358
Nope, that fix doesn't help. About reproduction... it's very irregular. My last test run had 17 crashes in 1000 runs of "v8_cctest test-log/ProfLazyMode" as debug build. In a release build I'm not getting any crashes at all unless I stress my cpu with other processes taking non-trivial time (more task switching? ... single core cpu by the way). I'm using VS2008 with default settings on a fresh bleeding_edge checkout (now updated to revision 2072), auto-converting the projects included there, in case that matters. Anyways I'll look at it again and try to understand the control flow of the sampler/profiler threads, maybe I can figure out a bit more. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
