That is true. {String,FixedArray,FixedDoubleArray,ByteArray}::kMaxLength
are chosen to make sure the occupied size do not exceed 512 or 128 MB.
That's likely a remnant of the old GC.
Hannes, could we lift those limits so that the only limit is that the
size/length value has to fit in the smi range?
