They must not be shipped by default. Shipping non-standard V8 features encourages the rise of more Chrome-only sites like Inbox.

Furthermore, the committee explicitly rejected adding such methods, so they are not even standards-track. The consensus was to potentially in the future explore type-system compatible promises under a new interface ("futures"), but not the Promise interface.

I request that they be moved under a flag if they must be kept at all. --harmony would be a bit of a misnomer since they are not harmonious, but that doesn't really matter.

I am surprised that unilaterally shipping nonstandard features (not even stage 0) by default was ever allowed to get through Intent to Ship.
