I'm not sure they are as big as absolutely possible. I might be able to
squeeze in a factor of two in some of the cases. I'll double check. Or I
could go for the exact maximum ((max positive int - header) / element size),
if we really want to allow 2Gb objects. Hmm, must consider the Rset of the
chunk as well then.
