Hello everyone, I've written up a brief document with a couple of ideas related to the age-old problem of SlicedStrings retaining much larger parent SeqStrings. Feedback and discussion are welcome. There are no prototypes and I'm not seeking LGTMs for implementation; mostly I'm interested to hear whether these approaches are fundamentally flawed.
