This is now showing up as OOM, the reason for this hard crashing earlier was that we used the heap iterator in RecordStats. That was fixed in r9397.
I am leaving this open since it is still crashing with OOM. For the record, this was reenabled in r9425 -- v8-dev mailing list v8-dev@googlegroups.com http://groups.google.com/group/v8-dev
