I created a test to run in node that shows the performance difference in
creating an Object and setting properties in cc vs js
(https://github.com/trevnorris/talks/tree/master/js-vs-cc-set-properties).
What I found is it's around 8x's faster to pass the parameters to a js
callback where the object is created and properties set, then to do this in
cc.
Is there anything that can be done to close this gap? The performance loss
is enough that I'm creating case specific callbacks to accomplish this, but
it makes the code very unwieldy.
