Hi, I am trying to run d8 with the --dump-counter flag, but am not seeing any output statistics.

I looked at the source code, and noticed that one source of error would be if I was running in shared library mode, the counters would not work, but there is a printf warning trigger that would be shown if that was the case. What are the other requirements for getting the counter information to work?
