Jill--I tow my 26' with a caprice classic estate wagon. I wouldn't want to
do a lot of mountain touring with this setup, but it tows a smaller trailer
very well, and these cars are a dime a dozen just about anywhere. I got mine
4 years ago for $1,500, in very good shape, and have since towed my
16-footer, laden with family of four and lots of gear, all over creation
with it, with nary a problem.
