We were fortunate enough to have met Bill Scott at the Cherry Blossom
Rally last year. His was the first of many smiles that greeted us for
our first ever WBCCI rally. It was a signal pleasure to read his
knowledgeable posts on this list and be able to put a "face" to the
signature. His illness of last year precluded getting to Harper's
Ferry, and we were really looking forward to seeing him in Maryland last
week.

The news of his passing came to us on Saturday night and was a deep
shock. To his son Mike, please accept our deep condolences. I hope it
will prove some small solace to know that there is (yet another) family
to whom knowing your Dad was a joy and honour.

And to you Bill, thank you for being part of our life here, and we truly
look forward to the time when we'll "see you down the road."
