If we had two presentations, it would seem reasonable and logical to
have one high level presentation, and one low level presentation - with
the low level presentation second, so that less technical users wouldn't
have to site through what must be a boring technical talk to get to the
less heady stuff they want ... I think the more technical users still
enjoy the less heady stuff too.

It might be nice to a get a more highly-stratified mix of presentation
topics.
If someone wanted to, I think presentations on topics like the following
would be appropriate:

 * Multimedia software
    - Image editors
    - Video & cinematics
    - Audio & recording software
    - 3D modelling
 * Package management systems (and why Debian/Ubuntu/apt is the best :)
 * Linux games
 * Window managers

All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, you know. But, more-over,
there's more to Linux & the BSDs than programming and databases, right?

Is there anyone that's more of a newbie that wants to pick up a
presentation like that?

BTW, I don't mean to discourage highly technical presentations, either.
It just might suit the group better to see a little bit of everything.
