Dear Richard,

I do recall your predilection to tea, with milk, if memory serves.

There are some wonderful outdoor cafe-type venues in the Burlington area that afford both fresh air, a Vermont favorite, as well as refreshments of all types.

Our goal as a group, is to show you our respect, and maybe talk some about system development. Many members of VAGUE are anxious to find out about what is "GNU"...

Please do not consider this an invitation by a bunch of frat boys. If you have time to chat with the VAGUE folk, we would value that.

One of out number, with me now, assures you that there will be little need to pose for digital pictures as "St Ignucius", unless of course you really feel you want to.

:^)

Finally, we will likely congregate about the podium after both of your speeches. Thanks for stopping in Vermont!

Kindest Regards,

Paul Flint

I appreciate the invitation, but I don't like beer at all, or bars.
If you're having a party of GNU fans, I will be glad to stop by to say
hello, but if you also want to say hello to me, I may have trouble
hearing you say it with the noise of a bar.

I suggest that you come by and talk with me after my speech tomorrow.
