Nice catch Flint and thanks for sharing! That's an amazing project and Brazil has been steadily working at implementing FOSS throughout their government for several years now (Maddog has been down there a number of times working with them as posted in his Linux Journal articles).
It's all very cool... I *love* the up to 5 seats per physical PC idea; really, how much CPU will a school child need? It's not likely that they're compiling big software and need tones of resources. A very nice way to leverage the incredibly powerful computers we all take so much for granted :) Now if we could open up the minds of our local legislative and educational folks to the opportunities presented by this project...
