Hi Mike: I think you can ignore my previous post, tho parts of it might be relevant to your hosts' performance.
I went over your conf again (at a more reasonable hour:) and found the problem
(i think)
You have unremd the virtualhosts, but they are defined incorrectly.
the * means that "the main server serves no requests"
and i doubt you own the domain web4.example.com
I went over some old notes and conf's and personally have my vhosts setup such
that the 1st defined vhost is the localhost's domainname
i put the /server-status and /server-info in that file and it works fine.
