Please, quote exact error messages in full. This is obviously a C warning, not a vala error, right? Just ignore it. Whenever you get incompatible pointer types warning from C compiler, it is spurious unless you are actually debugging the .vapi file (in which case it might mean you have declared the delegate type incorrectly).
