Maybe you need to give an argument to strace to have them ?


A possible cause could be the page size: as I understand,
mips have different page size setup.
If your valgrind has  been compiled with a  pagesize
not matching your kernel/setup, then maybe Valgrind might ask
wrongly aligned mmap requests, giving then this EINVAL

You could then configure/compile valgrind, specifying the correct
page size e.g. use the below configure option:
  --with-pagesize=        override detected page size (4, 16 or 64)
