Vow, what an experience!!!!! We had a wonderful time in Dubai, shopping, sight seeing, travelling and visiting the famous Malls for which Dubai is known for! What a country, amazing infrastructure and lovely buildings! Nowhere in the world i have come across the concept of designer malls, Dubai has it all for you! No wonder, everyone keeps coming to this place for variety of reasons, shopping is just a bonus! On the top of it H.V and Priya made it so special for us, they acted as if they were the sheikhs of Dubai and made sure that their guests have all the luxuries! Everytime, we stepped out of the hotel there would be two cars waiting to take us around, one driven by H.V and the other one by Priya! Couple of times we did use the taxi's for short distances and soon discovered how difficult it is to get one! H.V and Priya pampered us to such an extent that we felt a little uncomfortable everytime they were not accompanying us! I must confess that I would never imagine myself being such a host to anyone! What really amazed me is H.V's energy throught out the day, this guy starts his day at 5.30 odd and returns from work at around 10'sh on a routine office day! On the last day prior to our departure he dropped us at around 2 in the night and woke up at 5 A.M to resume work at the office!!!! Simply amazing, i am so motivated by his energy level that i am also trying to work till late but somehow it is not easy.Let me clarify, the reason he wakes up that early is because there is a heavy traffic in Sharjah where he lives and if he doesnt start early he gets stuck in the traffic jam invariably for a couple of hours! Despite all the odds he would come early in the morning to visit us at the hotel and plan the day for us and leave after dropping us back in the hotel! I am thoroughly touched by what he and Priya did for us during our trip!

It was a treat to have Nayan,Viren and Bhavin(our college friend) here with their families....and it very well coincided with my plans of a short local leave of 3 days....and they arrived on a weekend....so in all, we could be together for all the 5 days that they were here...... it also gave myself, priya and kids an opportunity to re-look around dubai and visit some new and old places that we had never visited.... all in all....a wonderful experience and a pleasure to be with good old friends.....
