Subject: A recent experience

Dear Friends,
Thought of writing something new.....Most of you would have heard or read about
the latest talk in Dubai.....the Dubai Metro....the project which was a part of
the most important projects of UAE....The Dubai Metro got flagged off within 49
months of kick off, on the symbolic day of 9.9.9 at 9:9:9 (9th of September
2009, at 9 hrs: 9 minutes and 9th second)....by Sheikh Mohammed, the visionary
ruler of Dubai......

the services opened for public on 10th september...and I was fortunate to be
able to avail the ride on my way back from a business trip that night....its
still at a preliminary startup.....(many stations are yet to be fully
operational), but the main stations are operational......but to tell you, its a
great achievement....its the longest automatic(Driverless) train route..in the
world....

also took another ride with priya, kids and my parents(who are here with us).

attaching some pictures....

So....here's one more new incentive to visit Dubai......
