I installed Munin to start keeping track of various Varnish stat and in my test configuration which keeps requesting the same ~4,000 small objects over and over, I notice that the Varnish object count keeps climbing steadily, at a rate of about 5,000 more objects every 10 hours. VM alloc stays constant.
