I was previously running a SVN build of Varnish 2.1.4 which included
fixes for timeouts with Content-Length. At the time there was no 2.1.5
debian package. I also applied the "-v virtualhost patch" [ticket 485]
to varnishncsa to support virtualhost logging (as this is a
multi-website webserver).
Yesterday we updated to Debian Squeeze and I figured it a good time to
switch back to official varnish-cache.org debs. We are now running
varnish 2.1.5 but to my dismay I cannot get VirtualHost logging in
varnishncsa? Apparently the logformat (-F) switch did not make it into
this release?? This was a bad presumption.
Are there any current solutions for getting virtualhost logging to work?
Are there any unofficial .debs supporting the -F or -v options for
varnishncsa?
