Actually I have installed Varnish from tar not as a RPM install. Also
please find the below my logrotate file
*/u01/varnishapp/log/*.log { daily rotate 1 maxage
6 compress missingok notifempty copytruncate create 0664
svc_varnish svc_varnish }*
Also I'm using the below command to manually start my log file
/bin/varnishlog >> /log/varnish.log &
