Hi Sorry if this is not the right place to post this but I've had this
problem for a couple weeks:
For the past couple of weeks I've been unable to connect to
vassal.org. I get a can not find server and connection has timed out
message in both IE and Firefox. I've tried the ping -n 1 216.193.236.172
in a command window and it comes back with a request timed out
message. I also tried Trace Route in Advanced Administrative Tools
and everything seems fine there untill I get to:
ge2-lunarpages.cust.lax02.mzima.net then there are about 8 timeouts
after that.
The odd thing is that I can connect from work. I was thinking that it
was just bad timing that the site was up while I was at work during
the day and down at night when I went home but I'm beginning to think
otherwise.
Does Anyone have any ideas what could be wrong?
Here's the second problem:
I accidently deleted vassal from Java when i used the clear
applications(?) button while I was trying to fix things. :-( And
since I can't connect to vassal.org I can't reinstall. Is there a
standalone (offline) way of installing Vassal?
Any help would be appreciated!
BTW, I haven't had problems with any other sites that a vist other
than vassal.org :-(
