VASSAL is nearing version 3.0, and we'd like your input on what features and
improvements you'd most like to see in the coming year.
Our Plan:
We plan to hold a poll (opening on 15 January or so, exact dates TBA) in
which you may vote for some number of RFEs (Requests for Enhancement) on
VASSAL's SourceForge site. We, the VASSAL developers, newly armed with
data about what our users want to see first, will then know better where
to focus our efforts for 2007.
What You Can Do:
Is there a feature that you've always wanted VASSAL to have? Is there
something (like a bug!) that bugs you? Then tell us! (Preferably before
the voting starts.)
Do one (or more) of the following:
1. Express a desire for such a feature on the list.
2. Email a developer. (I'm nominating myself as the pointman for this,
so that everyone else isn't deluged.)
3. Open an RFE on SourceForge (but check whether there is already one
like yours first):

4. Comment on an existing RFE at SourceForge.
Once we've collected a fairly complete list of feature requests, another
announcement will go out letting you know how and where to vote.
