Gary, Hello. I have continued to work on changing a basic piece without success. I scanned a new image and copied it to my computer in a .gif file. Then I opened up the "Edit Module" and chose the NFL Strategy Mod to edit. Then, I clicked on the game piece pallette and went to trough the keys until I got to the scrollable list of runs. I chose the 20 Fold then clicked on Basic Piece under the traits box. This brings up a smaller box in which pat of the 20 Fold can be seen. I double click on this picture which brings up a dialog box with all my documents. >From this list I chose the .gif image of the new card. This brings the new card into the smaller box and I click OK, and then OK again on the bigger box. This brings me back to where I started in the menu.
Next I click Save, then Save As. At this point I have tried a few things. 1) I have chosen the original NFL Strategy MOD and saved mine, replacing the old, 2) I have created a file name. I have then done the following with each of the above changes. I then close the edit module, and bring up the vassal box. I then chose play module and bring up NFL Strategy. I then chose new game. I then click on runs, hoping to see the new card in the place of the 20 Fold, but it has not changed. Suggestions?
