Hi Brent! Thanks for the quick answer.
I have just tried that and it does not work. I loaded the "initial position", resigned, selected "become observer", and then saved it. There are three sides in the game, A, B, and Gamemaster. When you try to load it again, you are still conected as the side that originally made the "initial position" file, the gamemaster. It still dont ask for side. I also have tried this. I made available to options in the File Menu. One for "New game", and one for "initial position". First you click "new game", then the program asks for side. You choose one, different from the one you go when you load the "initial deployment", lets say "A". But then, when you click in the "initial deployment", just triying to see if you are conected to it in the new selected side, you are kept in the new side, "A", but the map window does not load. There is no map window. So i used a "show map window" button. Then you can clik on in and the map is showed, and you are conected to the "initial deployment" in the side you selected. Although it is a solution, i dont like it. It is quite long, and i prefer the map window not as an independent window, with not all the controls on it. Any suggestion? Thanks again. >BRENT WROTE--------------------------------------- > Hi, > > When you create your initial depoyment, click the 'Retire' button to retire your side and become an Observer, then save your game.
