i recall many fond games of car wars. the real trick would be to  
duplicate the turning key, as well as the non-grid oriented movement.  
the grid consisted of 1" = 15', with half-inches equaling 7.5' and  
quarter-inches equaling 3.25'. it is one of the most accurate/real-to- 
life grid movement systems i have ever seen. but SJG managed to make  
it relatively easy to move pieces with only simple calculations and  
the turning key.

does the walker choose the path, or does the path choose the walker?
