Alco check that your mo file has not aquired a '.zip' suffix. Also check the errorlog file to see if there any explanatory messages rejecting the extensions. I'm not sure where the errorlog file resides on a Mac. Start and then finish a Memoir vassal session, then search you hd for a file called 'Errorlog'.
